Sara Pascoe and friends star for Write Back at the Soho Theatre Walthamstow!

On Monday 20th April, the hilarious Sara Pascoe (our very own Write Back patron) took to the stage in the beautiful Soho Theatre Walthamstow for our first ever comedy fundraiser night.

Joining Sara was an incredible line-up of comedians: Jess Fostekew, Michael Odewale, Freya Mallard, Tiffany Stevenson, Iain Stirling and Rosie Jones. The theatre was packed and filled with laughter as the stand ups took us on a tour-de-force through their own childhoods, the quirks of aging, the perils of Walthamstow bakeries and so much more.

With almost 700 tickets sold, the event exceeded our wildest expectations and we are delighted that we can now fund two whole storytelling programmes as a result! A huge thank you to the incredible comics who gave their time for Write Back, for the Soho Theatre Walthamstow for providing such an iconic setting for the event and of course to everyone who came along and helped fund our vital work.
