Festivals and festivities with Company 3

We were delighted to collaborate with the incredible Company 3 last term. Company 3 is an inspiring youth theatre organisation based in Islington who share our belief that young people’s voices need to be heard.

Over the course of the term, we shared tips and resources, joined together for some planning and ran workshop swaps so young people in both organisations could learn both creative writing and drama techniques. It all culminated on the 10th April with a ‘Festival’ showcase in which Write Back graduates performed extracts of their most recent book ‘Message in a Bottle’ before watching Company 3’s actors perform their own play.

What a joy it was to participate in such a shared festival of young people’s creativity and we hope to be back on stage soon with more collaborations with amazing partners like these.
